The Cairn Terrier Club of So. California is really looking forward to everyone coming to the beautiful Del Mar/Rancho Santa Fe area of San Diego for the upcoming Cairn Terrier Club of America Roving National Specialty and Cairn Terrier Club of So. California Specialties and Silver Bay Kennel Club supported entries – February 24-25-26, 2023.
There will be 5 shows in 3 days and Jack Bradshaw is the superintendent for all the events as follows:
Friday, Feb. 24 – Concurrent Specialty – Cairn Terrier Club of So. CA Specialty/Jr. Showmanship & Puppy & Veteran Sweepstakes (Judges: Anne Dove/Sweeps and Virginia Latham Smith – Cairn Classes and Jr. Showmanship)
Friday, Feb. 24 – Silver Bay KC – CTCSC Supported Entry (Judge: Jay Richardson – Cairn Terriers & Terrier Group)
Saturday, Feb. 25 – Concurrent Specialty – Cairn Terrier Club of America Roving National Specialty/Jr. Showmanship & Puppy & Veteran Sweepstakes (Judges: Nancy Delyea/Sweeps; Bergit Coady-Kabel/Jr. Showmanship; Barbara Kornylo – Cairn Classes)
Saturday, Feb. 25 – Designated Specialty – Cairn Terrier Club of So. CA at Silver Bay KC (Bergit Roady-Kabel – Cairn Classes & Terrier Group)
Sunday, Feb. 26 – Silver Bay KC – CTCSC Supported Entry (Judge: Terry Stacy – Cairn Terriers; Marcie Dobkin – Terrier Group)
The hotel, hospitality, advertising and trophy donation information is included in the Cairn Terrier Club premium list (attached). Our host hotel is the Morgan Run Club & Resort 858-756-2471 in beautiful Rancho Santa Fe which is a 5-minute drive to the show site – Del Mar Fairgrounds. Please book your accommodations directly with the hotel and the information is on Page 8.
Please join us for the following hospitality and remember to send in your dinner reservations BEFORE the due date of February 10:
- CTCA/CTCSC Hospitality – Thursday evening, Feb. 23 from 5-7 PM at Morgan Run Club & Resort with Wine & Cheese – no reservation required.
- CTCA/CTCSC Friday Dinner Banquet – Feb. 24 – Cocktails 6 PM – Dinner 6:30 PM (Please see Menu Selection in premium list (Page 10) and mail dinner reservation info. to Karen Smith BEFORE the due date of February 10.
- CTCA/CTCSC Saturday Dinner Banquet – Feb. 25 – Cocktails 6:30 – Dinner 7:15 PM (Please see Buffet Info in premium list (Page 11) and mail dinner reservation info. to Karen Smith BEFORE the due date of February 10.
Motorhome and day of show parking information is contained in the Silver Bay KC premium list (attached to this email as well). No one needs to purchase reserved grooming space as the Cairn Terrier Club of So. California will secure grooming space for all exhibitors …
The closest airport is San Diego International Airport which if approximately 25-30 minutes from the Morgan Run Club & Resort in Rancho Santa Fe. We know you will all have a great time … if you are in need of any crates or grooming tables, please call Karen Smith at 760-728-7133 or email her at
